Hello itzedubaba, thanks for submitting this grant application. We are excited about your plans to run an educational project at different universities and other educational institutions of Kaduna. I have reviewed your application and have a few questions:

Have you already prepared a list of articles that you will provide participants to edit?
How will you track participants' contributions? Are you planning to create a project page?
You mentioned that you would invite experienced Wikimedians. Could you please specify their usernames?
Could you please provide the names of all educational institutions you plan to visit? Are you already in touch with them? Have they confirmed their participation and willingness to provide computers?
Your plan is to run 4 training sessions. Will you run these sessions in different places? Could you please specify the locations?
Please provide a schedule of one of the planned sessions.
Kindly share the Risk Assessment form, so that it is accessible to everyone through the link.
What is your plan for online promotion? Could you please provide more details?

we will provide a list of suggested article to edit

The contact of all participant in the project will be taken through their contact it will be easy to have all of them in one whats app group in which they will be motivated to edit more and check on the articles that has been edited by others so as they could improve and learn from them program and events dashboard will also be created on meta wiki

A project page will be created on meta wiki

The list of the selected institutions are

Kaduna state university

Kaduna state polytechnic

I have already notified the institutions authority about the project and they're excited about it I have also identified staff and students that will pioneer the program at the institutions the school authority assured to me that they'll supports the program by providing computers during the events

The four training sessions will be run in two different places

Kaduna state university ICT center

Kaduna polytechnic computer laboratory

there will be two training a day with maximum of 20 learners per day

DAY 1 INTRODUCTION TO WIKIPEDIA Introduce Wikipedia and benefits of using Wikipedia project as a pedagogic tools this will focused to teach the basics of Wikipedia like reading, research creating an account,editing and making the participants familiar with Wikipedia in contests of Wikipedia education

we will make use of all the available social media platforms available the project will be announced on all social media whats app, Facebook and each partnered institutions will announced it on their various media channels that's a telegram group will be created for all participant of the events we have also shared it on hausa wikimedians user group

Extension request[edit]

I applied for a rapid grant on the 25th of August 2021 and it's already September I'm requesting for extension of time due to delayed in wiring the projects funds the new proposal date will be from 27th September to 20th October 2021 Thank you for your consideration Itzedubaba (talk) 23:01, 23 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
