Grants talk:Project/Rapid/Krishna Chaitanya Velaga/Portable WiFi Hotspot/Report

From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki

Hello Krishna Chaitanya Velaga thank you for this grant report. You've really done a great job of using the portable wifi hotspot for outreach activities. Two short comments for you:

  1. I noticed in your proposal you had other impact measures you wanted to include for this grant proposal. Have you not included them here because you're still collecting them?
  2. I have added a remaining funds template on your report for leftover funds. I trust you will use it for mission aligned activities.

Meanwhile, I'm accepting your grant report. Best regards, WJifar (WMF) (talk) 22:41, 19 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@WJifar (WMF): Thanks for reviewing the report. Here are my replies,
  1. Initially I proposed this an individual (as the equipment will be used by me only), however, after discussing with Alex on the talk page, I came to know that WMF doesn't fund personal equipment. So I intended to use it for the Wikipedia Club in my college, and during various outreach activities. As the equipment is listed publicly, I did not add the individual (editor level) impact measures to the report. For your reference, there is a significant rise in my activity (both online and offline), it can seen from here, here, & here.
  2. The remainder funds will be used for mission-aligned activities, mostly probably for the activities of the college club.
