Hi Krishna Chaitanya Velaga. Thanks for this detailed report and organizing the photowalk. It looks like it was a successful event and the photos are great! It's wonderful to see that 20% are already being used on Wikimedia projects. Your reflection that some participations (especially newbies) are not as interested in adding photos to articles, but mainly focused on the photography and getting them into Commons. A lot of people have found motivating people in regards to increased views of their photos when in articles to be a compelling argument. Also, sometimes the photographers are just not interested in the article improvement part and you have to engage editors to do that next step. @AWang (WMF): Greetings Alex, thanks for reviewing and approving the report. Actually I apologize for not updating the metrics, I almost forgot. A small correction is that 40% of the images have been used on articles. Next time, I'll plan to do a session on adding images to articles, after an edit-a-thon. Thanks for the support.
