Grants talk:Project/Rapid/May Hachem93/HerStory

From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki

Hello May Hachem93 thank you for submitting this proposal. I don't know if you saw that we have made some adjustments to our program but this month we're only processing Awareness Grants. Therefore, I have moved your proposal to draft. If you're able to carry out this project in proceeding month then please feel free to resubmit with updated dates. One thing to think about for resubmission.

  • The jury prizes look like they are compensation for people's time who will be organizing the event. We don't provide compensation for activities that can be conducted by volunteers so please consider removing that from your budget line item.

Hope this is helpful. Please feel free to let us know if you have any follow-up questions. Best regards, WJifar (WMF) (talk) 00:25, 27 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

WJifar Thank you for letting me know? Should I submit it again next month? Regarding the jury, those are volunteers who train and lead the camagin, it would be nice to motivate them. I understand they are volunteers and this work could be done voluntary, but how can I keep my own team motivated to review thousands of articles and teach them how to edit the website without any motivation? I think this is the least we can do for them for what they do to prompt knowledge in countries like mine where this culture is not common. I am also open to your suggestions for alternatives --May Hachem93 (talk) 08:24, 29 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
