Hello Sherlock808, and thanks for your report on your translate-a-thon event in the Philippines supporting content on climate change. Congratulations on completing your first grant, and I want to express that you've done some really nice and thoughtful work here. I am happy to accept your report with these comments and questions:

  • Congratulations on these fantastic outcomes in your program's outreach to students and teachers, training on useful on-wiki skills, and translating important content on climate change.
  • Thank you also for noting the roles that your team and others played in the proposal, sometimes in unexpected ways. I am glad the program was supported in important ways by Kunokuno, MaroBos, Daramlagon and Aaharoni-WMF on translation needs and Brazal.dang for training.
  • I'm very sorry to hear about the circumstances that affected the second session. Please be aware that you are welcome to request an extension for your project before the end date if it is helpful to reschedule any of your planned activities. It's important to our team that if organizers need more time in general, that we try to provide that for them.
  • Thank you for sharing your reflections on your experiences in the Anything else section. Organizing these sorts of activities for the first time is hard, and can be overwhelming. But I think you have demonstrated that you have a lot to offer to the Wikimedia movement and your community as an organizer. Thanks so much for your effort and consideration in your work.
