Delayed Response[edit]

Hello WJifar (WMF), I was directed to you to make enquiries as to the grant request. We planned on having a meetup in December 2018 and two meetups in January 2019 but after delay, we decided to have three meetups this month but as it seems, we might not be able to hold three meetups (trainings) because of the delay. Hello SuperSwift, thank you for your patience as we worked through your previous grant report and review this current grant. It was good to see your metrics that exceeded your goals in the report. Now that you have been able to launch the Ekiti State Wikimedia Fan Club and have a successful turn out I hope in this grant we will be able to see you build more on that foundation. By that I mean:

  1. Not only have new editors that have created an account but are also able to make edits on articles
  2. A list of articles you have worked on
  3. Return of some of the new editors you've listed in the previous grant report

Exchange rate adjustment[edit]

Hello SuperSwift, I have updated your budget to 2000 USD to include any exchange rate adjustments that might happen. We normally try to do 5% but that will put you above our limit of 2000 so I have left it at 2000. We've also adjusted the grant start date so it will match up with the grant agreement. Request for Extension[edit]

Hello WMF, due to unforeseen circumstances, I will need an extension to the events for which I applied for the grants. Initially, the events were planned to start last year but because of the delayed response in the grant approval, we started in March. The funds for the events are still intact but the school calendar has been irregular due to unnecessary and necessary strike action by the academic staff union, the non-academic staff union and the students union. As a result, we are seriously behind schedule and cannot categorically state when the project will be completed.
