@The Kilgoris Project: Hi, I'm Chris Schilling, a community organizer with the Wikimedia Foundation and I've had a chance to review your project to provide basic internet access to your network of schools in Kenya. Unfortunately, we are unable to fund your proposal. The guidelines and criteria for Rapid Grants specify that proposals must be aimed at improving one or more Wikimedia projects, such as Swahili Wikipedia or Wikisource. I have marked the proposal as ineligible for now, but if you would like to revise the proposal so that it meets the guidelines and criteria, you are welcome to do so by editing the proposal directly, and let me know if you have any questions.
