Hi SAgbley, thanks again for submitting this comprehensive grant application. We are excited about the activities you plan to carry out in order to train hearing impaired community members on Wikimedia projects. I have a few requests after reviewing the grant proposal:

  • Since you mentioned that you would have 15 participants, you are required to fill out the Risk Assessment tool document. Please complete it and provide a link to your completed copy under the corresponding question.

Budget:

  • Team sensitization meeting - could you please provide more information on what this cost will cover?
  • Awards - we think that this expense is high. Please reduce it to 200 USD.

Looking forward to hearing from you. Best regards, DSaroyan (WMF) (talk) 10:34, 9 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello DSaroyan (WMF)

1. Sorry the risk assessment link was not added. It has been updated in the proposal now for your review.

2. The Team sensitization is a meeting which basically covers any meal or rental expenses that will be incurred at the end of the project. It is purposely to ensure reporting, feedback and analysis of the pilot project.

3. Awards - This actually covers the cost of the certificate and (design and printing). Additionally, other gift awards will be given to outstanding editors. If we reduce it, then the number of awardees will also change. Therefore top 4 at USD200. Changes have been affected accordingly.

Thank you. SAgbley (talk)
