Request of extension[edit]

We need(ed) an extension on the initial project plan, owing to the impact of Covid-19 restrictions. This was granted to us via email, however, we failed to note this here, as requested by the Rapid Grants Team.

Our Wikipedia 20 project came has now come to an end and we're in the process of completing our report about it. We expect this to be complete by the end of this week.

Apologies for any inconvenience, not least of which to the WCM community members who are expecting us to complete this to be eligible for funding to support Wiki Loves Monuments 2021 in Malta.

Many thanks for your support and understanding! --ToniSant (talk) 14:08, 4 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The report for this project has now been competed and submitted for review. As we understand it, this means that no further extension is required. --ToniSant (talk) 11:50, 6 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

For the attention of Davit Saroyan and/or the Rapid Grants Team[edit]

WCM was contacted by Davit from the Rapid Grants team on Aug 4th told that unless we submit a report for our pending Wikipedia 20 grant, we would be ineligible on this for grant application for Wiki Loves Monuments 2021 in Malta. We immediately took action on this that same day and emailed Davit as well as rapidgrants@wikimedia.org. (please see the topic above which more or less contains the same info as my email to Davit)

We completed our Wikipedia 20 grant report the next day on Aug 5th and posted this to Davit with a cc to rapidgrants@wikimedia.org too.

Yesterday, Aug 16, we received another email from Davit saying that if we don't respond by Aug 19 he will have to mark our current proposal for WLM in Malta (i.e. this grant application) as ineligible for funding. I again responded immediately (yesterday) with a cc to rapidgrants@wikimedia.org. Either our emails are not coming through or the whole things is one big miscommunication between emails and Meta wiki talk pages etc.

We believe that we are now eligible for the WLM 2021 in Malta application to be considered as expected, because we are fully compliant. Thanks. --ToniSant (talk) 13:01, 17 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi ToniSant, thanks for pinging me on this page. Your emails have been marked as spam and automatically removed from my main inbox. I apologize that I couldn't review them before. I can confirm that your report has been received and we will move forward with your grant application for WLM in Malta tomorrow. Sorry again and have a great day!
