Proofreading queries on report draft[edit]

Under section heading Finances#Expenses documentation:

  • Is line four (1:10 PM) February 27 or February 29 like the other upper lines?
  • Line eight: was it projector RENTAL or PURCHASE? I typed these in upper case for attention; to be corrected

Observations of effects in real time[edit]

I am a non-Yoruba speaker editing daily on the Yoruba WP: I check the activity in Recent changes (Àwọn àtúnṣe tuntun), then add section headings, categories, and Wikidata interwiki links as necessary. On March 3 and 4, during and directly after the training session, I immediately noticed a large number of new editors. (Their User names and Talk pages started off red, so were highly visible.) They added new pages and contributed to existing ones. The number of Active Users on the statistics view (Àwọn oníṣe agbéṣe (àkójọ àwọn ọmọ ẹgbẹ́) more than doubled! Hello Agbalagba, thank you for your work on this final report. It’s great to hear that you’ve successfully organized two planned training meeting and exceeding most of the initial targets. I have reviewed your report and have some questions and comments:

  • In the proposal you have mentioned that you would use the Outreach Dashboard as a resource. Could you please add a link to the Outreach Dashboard board to the report?
  • You’ve mentioned that you would update the report with the total number of editors who have been active three months after the training completion. Could you please add this number?
  • Also, please update the report with the final number of created and improved articles.
  • Have you organized all technical and training sessions referred in the initial proposal? Could you please provide more details about how these trainings went?
  • Since the amount of the remaining funds is small, you can use it for other mission-aligned activities without any reporting requirements. I’ve added a note to the report page to reflect this decision.
