missing outcome[edit]

Hello अभय नातू, thank you for submitting your report. However, it appears that it is missing at least one outcome. WMF is requesting for attendees to share something that results from their participation at the conference with the Wikimedia movement after the conference has ended; or share something that was created/started while at Wikimania, but has benefits to the movement after the conference ended.

Hello Jtud (WMF),
Apologies for the tardy response. With some life-changes, I have not been active on-wiki for many months. A related matter brought me back here today when I noticed this message.
As far as something that resulted as a consequence of my participation, I believe #2 fits the criteria - I attended several wikidata sessions and helped w:mr community members in understanding what wikidata is and how to use on w:mr as well as elsewhere. Over the several weeks following this, w:mr has seen an increase in cross-linking of articles as well as other uses of wikidata. Also, as a minor point, my facebook post about User:Poco a poco resulted in it being read, commented and shared to inspire other folks to share their media wealth. I do not have data/numbers on what the direct impact was, so I didn't cite it as "things that changed because of Wikimania participation" but Diego's unassuming ways definitely left a lasting mark (and inspiration) on me and folks whom I related the story to.
