Grants talk:TPS/Paulproteus/Open Source Bridge 2013/Report

Thank you for this report[edit]

Thank you, Paulproteus, for this detailed and insightful report. Thank you for taking the time to share you reflections on lessons learned. I would encourage others giving presentations in a similar format to take note of your observations. In particular, we liked your observations around using web-based documents that can be edited easily during and after the presentation rather than slides. Thanks for sharing your slides here as well, and including links to your work from the conference. From reading your report, it seems you accomplished a lot and also fostered some valuable connections with others at the event, so congratulations on both counts!

By the way, do you have an idea of the number of attendees at each of your sessions? Before accepting this report, we would like you to publicly post the expenses for which you are being reimbursed.

Response (also blended into the report)[edit]

Thanks for taking the time to review! It was an honor to be able to go.

I've addressed the question and the information request in the report as a follow-up edit, so that it is in the most convenient place for future historians and enthusiasts to find it.

Thanks for helping push toward transparency! This is by far the most enjoyable and comprehensible grant process I have participated in.

Also I'm now watching this page; my apologies that I hadn't configured that before.

Thank you for the speedy updates! We are glad to learn you had a good experience with the process, and thank you for sharing that with us. This report is now accepted and we will contact you by Email regarding the details of your reimbursement. Cheers, Winifred Olliff (Grants Administrator) talk 22:52, 11 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
