Hi @Shchung: thank you for your report. We are approving this report with the following comments:

  • Thank you for including a link to your paper in the Proceedings at Open Sym. May we request that you also upload a copy of your paper to Commons and then add the link to your report?
  • We’re appreciate that you are seeking to carry your ideas forward with some of the participants you met at OpenSym 2015. The sharing sessions you’ve initiated are a great idea and we appreciate that you have provided a link in your report. We see that nobody has yet registered. In addition to pinging your participants from OpenSym, you may want to consider sharing the link with the Wikibooks community, as well (if you haven’t already!).
  • Thanks, also, for creating a learning pattern. That’s another resource you may want to share with others!
  • We note that you are over budget by almost $200 with your accommodations. Thank you for contacting us to update us about your booking problems. We know how difficult it is to find last-minute accommodations in San Francisco. Since you are under your budget as a whole and the per night cost is still within the published rate, we are approving this budget change.
  • We also note that the Finances section of your report needs to be updated. Please update to reflect the advance amount funded and remaining amount for reimbursement, in addition to your total expenses. The advance funding sent to you was US$2284 (the original amount approved) and your total approved expenses are US$2618, so the amount left to be reimbursed to you is US$334.
  • We appreciate your offline work for the Wikimedia movement. We hope you will consider becoming an active online contributor, too!

Dear Jtud (WMF),
I have uploaded a copy of my paper to Commons and added the link to my report. Kindly review and let me know if it's okay. I will put forth my best effort to share the sharing session to Wikibooks community as well as course specialists, writers, readers, researchers and reaching out to more interested individuals. I have also created a wordpress https://wikibookians.wordpress.com/ to document and share any Wikibooks initiatives from time to time. Thank you very much!

We also appreciate that you added your presentation to Commons and linked it to your report. We have emailed you the details of your reimbursement.
