Comment[edit]

Dear @Carolynseaman:,

The Wikimedia Usergroup Nigeria community support fund committee has further reviewed your application, and they have some follow-up questions and requests regarding your application:

  • Due to the end of our fiscal year by March and the need to further close our books, we need you to confirm first if you will be able to complete and provide reporting of the project by the end of February, as this is important before moving with the application.
  • We strongly discourage the purchase of mass t-shirts but instead should be used as gift items for selected participants or for facilitators. So, please reduce the no of shirts to be purchased to 7.

We look forward to your response and adjustment on or before February 10th 2023. Thank you once again for your work within the Wikimedia Movement in Nigeria.

On behalf of the WUGN Community Support Fund Committee. All the best, Ayokanmi (WUGN) (talk) 00:54, 8 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Feedback[edit]

Dear @Ayokanmi (WUGN)

This is to appreciate the Wikimedia User Group Nigeria community support fund committee for the review of our application and to respond to your questions on our application:

1. We have a short window already to promote the event and implement as successfully as planned. We commit to meet the timeline to submit our report by the end of February as requested. And we hope we secure your prompt response to our grant request and request for training content support.

2. The purchase of mass tshirts was intended to encourage our consistent members and new ones to build their sense of ownership of the network and elicit their commitment to the Network's activities. However, we have secured the goodwill of our in-kind contributors to cover that cost in exchange of us covering the cost of the venue for the training. We hope we can secure your support in view of these changes as we encourage or very young membership.

While we await your positive response, please accept our deepest appreciation for your support. Carolynseaman (talk) 21:33, 11 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
