Daniel Abugre Anyorigya (Project Lead)

Daniel Abugre Anyorigya User:Uprising Man is journalist, environmentalist and advocate of open knowledge. He co-founded Gurene Wikimedia Community in September 2021 to digitize Gurene and its people.

He works as a development communications consultant for Strategic Youth Network for Development, and 350-Ghana Reducing our Carbon, ActionAid Ghana, iWatch Africa, Global Platform Ghana, 350 Africa, among others. He currently works as a digital communications strategist for Wiki Hour Initiative.

Fuseini Mohammed Kamal-Deen (Project Manager)

Fuseini Mohammed Kamal-Deen is a Wikimedian in Residence and trainer who is passionate about using technology to promote education and cultural heritage. He is a co-lead of the Gurene Wikimedia Community and a member of the Cyber security professional Association in Ghana.

He contributes to Wikimedia projects under the username User:Dnshitobu and is a co-facilitator in Dagbani Wikipedia Saha tele-education program on TV. He is a professional teacher with a background in Information technology and a volunteer for many other community organizations.

Ruth Abugpoka Ayorigya (Communications Lead)

Ruth Abugpoka Ayorigya User:Awinebotima is the Communications Lead for the community. Aside from Wikipedia, Ruth is a climate advocate, a Baobab Ambassador and a learner guide at CAMFED Ghana. She is passionate about Gender Equity, climate change, and women's development.

Joseph Akakiiri Ayambire Anamzaaya ( Facilitator & Proofreader)

Joseph Akakiiri Anamzaaya Ayambire User:Akakiiri is an M.Phil final year student.  He is a facilitator and proofreader at the Gurene Wikimedia Community. He is passionate about language development and using local language for documentation.

Felicia Amoramah Ayeti (Logistics)

Ayeti Amoramah Felicia User:Amoramah is a university graduate. She is the logistics officer at the Gurene Wikimedia Community. Language development and culture maintenance is her passion sand she is ever ready to do what it takes to meet that aim
