Explain your plan[edit]

Tell us about how you contribute currently, and how you would contribute if WMF were to gift a used laptop to you.

I am a Wikimedian in Residence with AfLIA, something that requires me to conduct a number of online training sessions as part of delivering the revised OCLC curriculum for African Librarians. In addition, I prepare and give a number of presentations to a number of library communities in Africa on various Wiki-related topics as well as participate in various conferences as a form of publicity and advocacy for the Wikipedia in African Libraries Project. In my local community, I coordinate a number of GLAM projects. within the country and in the East African region. Having a modern laptop will complement the work I do and technically enable me execute my duties as the one I have is falling apart.
