I am an active contributor to the English Wikipedia, Wikidata, and Wikimedia Commons. As a medical student of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Abike25, I create and edit health-related articles, including entries on hospitals and other medical topics, and have contributed thousands of items across Wikimedia projects.
I previously relied on my mother’s laptop, which has become unusable after 3 years. Since then, I have had to depend on borrowing laptops from classmates and using my mobile phone which limits my editing and contributions to the Wikimedia movement.
As a medical student, I aim to improve access to accurate health information on Wikipedia by updating articles with reliable, evidence-based content. I also plan to contribute educational media to Wikimedia Commons Translate health related articles to local languages buh due to lack of efficient tools this limit my contribution.
i believe access to a laptop will enable me to research and edit more efficiently, ensuring consistent, high-quality contributions. The laptop will also help me learning advanced Wikimedia tools, translation work, and contribute more consistently as a university student committed to free knowledge and training other.
