My plan

I am an active Wikimedia contributor from Burkina Faso contributing mainly to French Wikimedia projects including Wiktionary,Wikimedia Commons, Wikipedia and Wikidata. I work on improving local content related to education, geography,laws,cinema, heritage, and notable people and places in Burkina Faso. Currently, I contribute mostly using computer of my friend, which limits my ability to edit efficiently, upload media, research sources, and participate in technical Wikimedia activities.

If I receive a laptop from Wikimedia Foundation, it will greatly improve the quality and quantity of my contributions. I plan to create and improve more French Wikipedia articles, contribute structured data on Wikidata, participate in community campaigns, support knowledge sharing, and help document underrepresented topics from Burkina Faso, Africa and the World.

The laptop will also help me learn advanced Wikimedia tools, translation work, and contribute more consistently as a contributor committed to free knowledge.
