[edit]Tell us about how you contribute currently, and how you would contribute if WMF were to gift a used laptop to you. Since joining the Wikimedia movement in 2024, I have been actively contributing across multiple Wikimedia projects writing and editing articles on English Wikipedia, uploading media to Wikimedia Commons, fixing citations and references to improve content reliability, and making structured data contributions on Wikidata, Wikiquote, Wikisource, and Wikibooks.
I participated in the Wiki health Africa Editor Campaign where upload lot of Images on wikimedia Commons relating to hospital, the environment, equipment and facilities used at the Healthcare. And as a student in the medical field one of my major interests in the wikimedia projects is health, I will love to contribute more to project related to health.
As someone who cares deeply about the quality and integrity of Wikimedia content, being limited to a mobile device has greatly reduced the volume and complexity of work I can do particularly tasks that require extended writing, sourcing, and cross-project editing.
Beyond content contributions, I'm a student Optometrist and also a Technical Product Manager with a strong interest in growing my technical skills within the Wikimedia ecosystem. If gifted this laptop, I plan to not only intensify my content contributions across the projects I already work on, but also begin engaging with Wikimedia's technical community exploring tools, and systems that power the movement. My goal is to eventually contribute to Wikimedia's technical infrastructure, helping improve the platforms that millions of editors and readers rely on every day.
