Tell us about how you contribute currently, and how you would contribute if WMF were to gift a used laptop to you.

  • I am a member of the Wikimedia Tunisia User Group, and I contribute by editing, translating, and creating articles in Arabic, French, and English Wikipedia, as well as uploading and documenting photos on Wikimedia Commons. I have also co-organized several competitions, workshops, and training sessions related to Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons in Tunisia.
  • After a period of reduced activity for personal reasons, I am now fully returning to active work within the Wikimedia movement, especially on Wikisource and Wikimedia Commons. Recently, I upgraded my camera equipment to improve the quality of my photographic contributions and documentation work on Commons.
  • I am now highly motivated to work again with the new Wikimedia Tunisia team, which is eager to promote Wikimedia projects and free knowledge in Tunisia through workshops, edit-a-thons, photography campaigns, and outreach activities. Receiving a laptop from the Wikimedia Foundation would greatly help me manage this renewed level of activity. I will use it to improve and speed up my workflow in editing Wikipedia, contributing to Wikisource, uploading and processing photos on Wikimedia Commons, organizing workshops, and coordinating Wikimedia activities in Tunisia.
  • If awarded, I will personally pick up the laptop at Wikimania Paris (I live in France)
