[edit]My plan For the past three years, I have been an active and dedicated member of the Wikimedia movement. My contributions are focused on three main areas: • Editing & Content Creation: I regularly contribute to Hausa Wikipedia by creating and improving articles to bridge the knowledge gap. • Translation: I actively use the Content Translation tool to make global knowledge accessible in my local language, ensuring that language is not a barrier to information. • Event Facilitation: I have successfully facilitated Wikimedia events and workshops, helping to train new editors and organize community meetups to grow our local user group. Currently, my ability to contribute is limited because I 'rely on a mobile device which makes complex editing difficult' or 'use a shared computer with limited time . Receiving a donated laptop would significantly scale my impact within the movement in the following ways: • Advanced Editing: A dedicated laptop will allow me to perform more technical tasks, such as using [Tools like AutoWikiBrowser or HotCat] and handling complex data on Wikidata. • Increased Content Output: I plan to increase my monthly translation and article creation quota by [20%] because I will have more consistent and efficient access to the projects. • Empowering Others: As a facilitator, having a portable laptop will allow me to host better training sessions, conduct live demonstrations for new editors, and manage event logistics more effectively. • Long-term Commitment: This hardware will serve as a foundation for my continued growth as a Wikimedia leader in my region."
