Explain your plan[edit]

I'm an active editor of es.Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons, in less level in eo.Wikipedia and eo. and es.Wikinews. I guide workshops, talks and edithatons and organize contests in Colombia to spread the Mission and the Vision of WMF in the country. I attended Iberoconf 2013 and Wikimedia Conference 2016 where I participated workshops and edit etherpads with an (now discontinued but still working) iPad 2. I bought a secondhand laptop with battery issues and repair it. The laptop use to have battery lifetime of about one hour to edit without the need of being connected to the power plug. I attended WMCon 2017 with it. Now the laptop is not charging anymore and I can't afford the prize of a new battery or laptop. Even a new battery is not a guaranty to fix the problem.

A new laptop would enhance my opportunities to edit and upload content, and to organize projects for Wikimedians of Colombia User Group. I am usually away from home since early in the morning to late in the night, because I work and study a degree. I spend my free spaces to contribute to Wikimedia projects. Sometimes I've to move from one city from other to spread the message and guide activities. That's why if I can have a laptop that allow me to move without the need of search for a power plug would be much easier for me to contribute and add content. My laptop use to have Ubuntu, so it is not a problem for me.

My work with indigenous speakers in Colombia appeared on the Wikimedia Blog!. I keep working to bring free access to knowledge in native languages of Colombia, thanks to that I received a scholarship to attend the Wikimedia Diversity Conference.
The construction of the Bylaws of the chapter-to-be Wikimedia Colombia was a hard work but I think it'll worth
I administrate the social media accounts of the user groups Wikimedians of Colombia and Esperanto and Free Knowledge!
