[edit]Learning report
[edit]This section includes questions that have been answered by the fellow for learning and evaluation purposes. These reports are used by DCW for improving the subsequent iterations of the initiative.
- What do you think about the Heritage Lens initiative?
- It is a great initiative by DCW to capture Muslim Heritage in India and contribute to Wikipedia.
- What new things did you learn during the execution of the project? What do you think about their impact?
- I explored new places and learned about the heritage sites that sometimes go unnoticed but have significance. Preserving and Documenting History, Countering Misinformation and Bias, Enhancing Global Understanding, Supporting Education and Research, Strengthening Community Engagement, and Promoting Cultural Tourism and Heritage Protection are some of the few impacts that can be seen.
- Did you face any challenges during the project? If yes, please tell about your experience and any possible ideas that you think could be helpful in mitigating those issues.
- Yes, I had difficulty in taking some good pictures because of the lack of the right apparatus(camera and tripod). It'd be great if DCW could provide the equipment to capture good-quality pictures.
- Do you have any additional remarks for the future iterations of the Heritage Lens? What should be improved?
- Good research work is needed before targeting a specific location.
