The Iteration 7 of the Heritage Lens runs between 20 and 25 November 2025, focusing Lucknow. This iteration fellow is AJ12119, a photography-enthusiast and a member of Wiki Club AMU's COT.

Learning report

This section includes questions that are answered by the fellow for learning and evaluation purposes. These reports are used by DCW for improving the subsequent iterations of the initiative.

• What do you think about the Heritage Lens initiative?

Ans. It's really a great initiative taken by DCW for photographer like us who want to show the perspective to the world but somehow they can't. So I am very grateful to DCW for giving me that opportunity to make my every shots count to the globe..

• What new things did you learn during the execution of the project? What do you think about their impact?

Ans.First and foremost thing I learnt is the solo travelling. I travelled alone in the city that built my confidence more in every perspective.Being a line fellow there I travelled to and fro independently and captured more efficiently without any inconveniences like created by a group..fully focused on unveiling the city's heritage from all corners..

• Did you face any challenges during the project? If yes, please tell about your experience and any possible ideas that you think could be helpful in mitigating those issues.

Ans.On the beginning of the project I felt little bit difficulty as it was completely a new place to be explored.But that city was very adopting nature like on the next day I felt like I belongs to there. The crowd of the lucknow is really very big unlike others, Travelled almost every corners. So overall I would say Lucknow was very good city to get involved with the history, food and cultures etc.

• Do you have any additional remarks for the future iterations of the Heritage Lens? What should be improved?

Ans.Overall it is a great initiative taken by DCW and also got help by the moderator in every required step.There is nothing that much to be improved..it is all about exploring the corners of the heritage around us and showing the world how beautiful heritages we do have.
