Advanced Train The Trainer 2025

The Advanced Train the Trainer (Advance TTT) 2025 is a focused capacity-building event scheduled for October 2025 in Hyderabad. This program is designed for experienced Wikimedians who are actively contributing to their communities and are ready to take on deeper leadership or mentorship roles. Hosted by the Open Knowledge Initiatives (OKI) team, at IIIT-Hyderabad, the event will bring together Wikimedians and selected external experts to explore key thematic areas, build domain-specific skills, and co-create impactful ideas that can strengthen the Wikimedia movement and its allied ecosystems.

Vision

[edit]

Advanced TTT 2025 is designed to cultivate specialized leadership and domain expertise among experienced Wikimedians. The program also aims to foster collaborative innovation by inviting select participants from outside the Wikimedia movement, including experts of picked fields.

This initiative is a step toward building a stronger, more interconnected free knowledge ecosystem where skills, experience, and ideas flow across thematic areas and communities.

Thematic Tracks (3-Day Immersive Learning)

[edit]

As part of Advanced TTT 2025, participants will engage in one of two immersive tracks throughout the entire three-day training. These tracks are designed to provide focused, hands-on learning experiences guided by facilitators and domain experts. Each track includes a mix of labs, discussions, collaborative work, and project-based learning.

Participants will stay on the same track for all two or three days to allow for deep exploration, skill-building, and meaningful output.
