Punjabi Wikimedian Conference 2023 was held at SEABA International public school Lehragaga, Punjab. In that event, I provided some logistical support and also played a role as a trainer or speaker about Wikisource : Advance Training and Editing. https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Punjabi_Wikimedians_User_Group_Conference_2023/Program

In 2023, I organized Punjabi Wikisource Proofread-a-thon 2023 again and engaged my community members in proofreading. https://pa.wikisource.org/wiki/ਵਿਕੀਸਰੋਤ:ਪੰਜਾਬੀ_ਵਿਕੀਸਰੋਤ_ਪਰੂਫਰੀਡ-ਏ-ਥਾਨ_ਸਮਾਗਮ_2023

I have conducted or organized a one day activity under She Leads, a program run by CIS-A2K, in Patiala with Dugal harpreet. What skills or knowledge do you hope to gain from this training?

[edit]
  • - Measuring and evaluating the impact of Wikimedia projects

- Sharing and promoting the outcomes of Wikimedia projects using data - Helping Wikimedia community members make data-driven decisions - Enhancing the impact of Wikimedia projects and promoting community engagement.

Based on your selected track, what is one challenge you have encountered in either evaluating Wikimedia programs or designing impactful projects? Please share your experience relevant to your chosen track.

[edit]
  • In one experience, I tried to measure the impact of a Wikimedia project, but I lacked the necessary skills for data analysis, which made it difficult for me to accurately measure the project's impact.

This experience taught me that data analysis and impact measurement require specific skills and knowledge. I'm eager to develop my skills and learn how to identify suitable metrics for data analysis."

How do you plan to apply what you learn after the event?

[edit]
  • - Use data analysis to measure and evaluate the impact of Wikimedia projects.

- Provide training and resources to help Wikimedia community members make data-driven decisions. - Use data storytelling to share and promote the outcomes of Wikimedia projects.

(Optional) Are you open to mentorship (either receiving or offering it)?

[edit]
  • "Absolutely! I'm open to mentorship, either receiving or offering it. I'm willing to share my experience and knowledge, and also learn from others.
