[edit]- As a Naturalist whose primany domain knowledge is on biodiversity, I would like to learn about Micro-Project Design Challenge so that I can design small projects related to photo documentation of biodiversity for filling the gap that exists on Wikimedia Commons and Wikipedia.
Tell us about one Wikimedia program, campaign, or initiative you’ve contributed to in a leadership role
[edit]- Wiki Explores South 24 Parganas - Phase I Participant, Itinerary Design.

What skills or knowledge do you hope to gain from this training?
[edit]- This training will enable me to design projects related to biodiversity and successfully execute them with a team.
Based on your selected track, what is one challenge you have encountered in either evaluating Wikimedia programs or designing impactful projects? Please share your experience relevant to your chosen track.
[edit]- Wildlife Photography is in boom now because of Social Media exposure. But when it comes to Wikimedia Commons, many photographers don't contribute here. This viod particularly seen in the field of herpetology. There are not many good photos of uncommon and rarely seen species of snakes, frogs etc on Wikimedia Commons. I want to design small projects based on season, geographic area with Wikimedians from that area to fill the viod.
How do you plan to apply what you learn after the event?
[edit]- Team Building.
- Capacity Building of the team.
- Help them participate in Wikimedia Projects.
- Inspire them to contribute to Wikimedia Commons.
(Optional) Are you open to mentorship (either receiving or offering it)?
[edit]- Yes
