  • Participated and presented in WikiConference India 2023, Hyderabad 28-30, April 2023.
  • Participated in WikiWomensCamp 2023 held at New Delhi, on 20-22 October 2023.
  • Program Comittee (LEAD) and participated in the program activities related to Tewiki Pandaga 2024 (The 20th Anniversary Event held at Visakhapatnam on 26-28 January 2024. Attended the event.
  • Participated in Mini-Hackathon 3rd WTS 2024 held on 3rd October, 2024 organized by IIITH, Hyderabad in their premises.
  • Participated in 3rd Wiki Technology Summit 2024 (WTS 2024) organized by IndicWiki@IIITH, Hyderabad; Wikimedia Foundation, Mediawiki in Hyderabad on 4-5 October, 2024

  • Tewiki Badi (School)- Telugu Wikimedian's Learning Space) - conducted 40 classes within 15 months period for beginners, working Telugu Wikimedians ranging from regular topics to intense technical topics.
  • Hyderabad National Book Fare Project to conduct Outreach Campaign at Hyderabad National Book Fair - 2024-25 for 11 days i.e. 2024, December 19-29. Participated in preparation of a book-let containing the brief introduction to Telugu wiki projects for the awareness of visitors of Bookfare. COMPLETED.
  • Grandhaalaya Sarvasvamu (Telugu Journal publishing from 1916-till now) Telugu Wikisourse based Project in collaboration with Andhra Pradesh Library Association, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, which is connecting to Telugu Wikipedia, WikiVyakhya, Wikiedia Commons and Wikidata. The project includes initial 13 volumes (76 issues) and publication of around 400-450 selected articles.
  • Contributing to MdWiki Project added 78 health related articles in Telugu
  • Apart from adding Telugu Books on Free resources and Wiki related processes, mentoring in writing a Telugu WikiBook on Classical music basing on original Sanskrit version of 13th Century.

    • My work is mostly related these concepts. I am interested in metrics, application of tools.

Tell us about one Wikimedia program, campaign, or initiative you’ve contributed to in a leadership role

  • Hyderabad National Book Fare Project to conduct Outreach Campaign at Hyderabad National Book Fair - 2024-25 for 11 days i.e. 2024, December 19-29. Participated in preparation of a book-let containing the brief introduction to Telugu wiki projects for the awareness of visitors of Bookfare. These booklets were republished and dispatched to all the public libraries in Telugu states (Telangana and Andhra Pradesh). Conducted 6 days beginners classes under the banner "Tewiki Badi" to the registered visitors in Bookfare.
    • It was helpful to understand the public opinion about Wikipedia, directly interact with them clearing their doubts, (mis)apprehensions and inculcate confidence in them.

What skills or knowledge do you hope to gain from this training?

  • Hope to learn useful tools that can help to run the required projects speedily and effectively and learn the latest trends followed by other participants and get new ideas.

Based on your selected track, what is one challenge you have encountered in either evaluating Wikimedia programs or designing impactful projects? Please share your experience relevant to your chosen track.

  • I felt it was tough for me to evaluate or measure the impact with only counts related to a single specific project. Metrics alone cannot justify the impact as it subjective also.

How do you plan to apply what you learn after the event?

  • After completing the my ongoing programs, I may takeup depending on the my community's requirements. Mostly I may plan to work in Wiktionary.

  • Yes. I am already doing in Wikisource and Wikibooks.
