What steps have you taken since October 2025? (Example: started a project, redesigned an existing program, ran a workshop, created metrics, built partnerships, etc.)

Organized an offline Wikimedia workshop with 11 participants to strengthen female participation, where 4 new editors created Wikimedia accounts and trained people on how to use content translation tool. Tracked participation and edits on Outreach Dashboard, supporting data-driven evaluation of the workshop’s impact.

Expanded Wikipedia articles with verified references and high-value and informative content, ensuring they meet the standards of the Good Article policy under Wikipedia 25×25 Punjabi Good Articles Campaign.
Focused on self-learning tools and technologies, including SQL and data visualization, to track community performance and identify areas for improvement.
Wrote an insightful Diff blog sharing key takeaways and experiences from attending the ATTT program-

I implemented structured frameworks for event evaluation, tracking participant contributions and content growth after edit-a-thons. I also applied methods for mentoring newcomers, facilitating workshops, and guiding editors on tools like the Content Translation Tool to ensure practical skill development and measurable impact.

I focused on Data impact and storytelling to design data-oriented dashboards and analyze outcomes for campaigns and workshops. I also leveraged the Outreach Dashboard to identify gaps and implement improvements in those areas.

Have you noticed any changes, improvements, or learning so far? (This could be about participants, content quality, team processes, reporting, or community engagement.)

I have developed a more analytical and data-driven approach to challenges. In my previous Wikimedia experience, organizing edit-a-thons lacked a systematic way to track participant activity or articles edited. Now, using Outreach dashboards, I can monitor contributions in real time, identify gaps, and implement targeted strategies to improve engagement and outcomes.

A key challenge has been encouraging consistent participation and feedback from community members. Even with dashboards and evaluation tools, I had to adapt my approach to different skill levels and motivate newcomers to stay engaged.

I sometimes get stuck in technical areas, especially while querying data and translating dashboard insights into actionable strategies. Although metrics highlight gaps, determining the most effective way to address them for newcomers with varying skill levels requires iterative learning and adaptation.

What kind of help would make your next step easier? (Mentoring, peer review, technical help, evaluation guidance, partnerships, funding advice, etc.)

Mentorship would be invaluable for guidance in analyzing data and mastering technical aspects.

Develop SQL queries to monitor articles that have remained inactive or have not been updated recently, enabling better tracking and maintenance of content.

What collaborations emerged because of Advanced TTT, and what became possible that might not have happened otherwise?

The most significant outcome was the opportunity to connect with individuals from diverse linguistic and cultural communities across India, fostering meaningful collaborations. It was inspiring to meet like-minded people from varied career backgrounds and explore opportunities to share knowledge and ideas.
