The TTT 2026 Scholarship is intended to enable participation from contributors across diverse communities, with a focus on strengthening leadership and capacity building within the Wikimedia movement. The program prioritises individuals who show potential to train others, foster collaboration, and contribute to the long-term growth of their communities. By supporting their participation, TTT aims to build a sustainable and connected trainer ecosystem.

Who Should Apply

We invite applications from individuals who:

  • Are Indian language Wikimedians based in the country.
  • Have a basic understanding of Wikimedia projects
  • Are active contributors within Wikimedia communities
  • Are interested in taking up leadership and facilitation roles
  • Who never attended Train the Trainer event.

We also encourage participation from individuals who are motivated to engage more deeply with open knowledge platforms.

Selection Process

Applications will be reviewed based on these broader categories:

  • Contribution and engagement in Wikimedia projects
  • Motivation to participate in the program
  • Potential for leadership and community impact
  • The applications will be reviewed based on the criteria

Scholarships

Selected participants will be supported through scholarships to attend the program. Details regarding travel, accommodation, and other support will be shared with selected candidates.
