In-person event 1: 24th May 2022
The physical event was a wikidata editathon on Igbo descriptions of Black Artists on Wikidata. The in-person event was held in Awka, Anambra State, Nigeria. At the end of the event, 370+ Igbo descriptions were added to Wikidata items of black artists. For more details see event dashboard here.
In-person event 2: 16th July 2022
The physical event was a Wikipedia Translate-A-Thon on Black Artists in History & Contemporary. The in-person event was held in Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria.

Contest
The online contest was for a period of 1 month. The dashboard and Xtool were used to track participants activities. At the end of the contest, 04 July 2022, outcomes were recorded on three projects participants contributed to, namely; Igbo Wikipedia, Wikiquote, and Wikidata respectively.
- Wikipedia
- In general, at the end of the contest, a total of 5,290 articles were created, 12,300 articles were edited, and a total edit of 28,400. See event dashboard here for comprehensive information.
- Wikiquote
- Redlist of quotes to be created was generated and updated. The Redlist all turned blue, a total of 376 pages were created on the Igbo Wikiquote. See list for more details.
- Wikidata
- Items were created and edited. A total number of 487 items were created,4500 descriptions added in Igbo, and a general revision of 22,000. See Wikidata statistics for additional information.
