...On voyait, il y a quelques années, dans le petit musée que M. Ruprich Robert avait installé dans une des dépendances de la cathédrale de Bayeux, deux faîtières en terre cuite très-curieuses par leur fabrication. Nous les donnons ici toutes deux (4 et 4 bis). Elles paraissent appartenir au XIIIe siècle, sont d'une petite dimension, et le vernis qui les couvre est brun. Ces faîtières étaient posées jointives...
