English: ... the architects of the high nave in the cathedral of Amiens had to consider the disproportion which existed between the oeils mullions, the heaviness of the secondary tierce points including the lower oeils, and the difficulty of the sizes of these penetrations of members with different sections. Also, raising little after the high windows of the nave those which open in the Western wall of the transsept, they had already brought improvements in the layout of the mullions of these windows (4)...
