Iranian–German Wikipedia Edit-a-thon
This cross-city edit-a-thon will take place simultaneously in Hamburg, Berlin, and Munich. We will edit on site in each city and also connect repeatedly via BigBlueButton (BBB) videoconference to compare results, answer questions, and coordinate across rooms. We will create new articles about Iranian and German “Women in Red”; participants are also welcome to expand or update existing articles.
We will work in the Persian, German, or English editions of Wikipedia — or any other language(s) participants are comfortable with.

[edit]Please bring your own notebook/laptop. WikiMUC (Munich) and WikiBear (Berlin) also provide desktop computers or Laptops on site. WLAN is available.

[edit]Please register by email: wikimuc@wikipedia.de — use the subject line “1. iranisch-deutsche Wikipedia-Schreibwerkstatt zu ‘Women in Red’” or include the event date in your message. If you already have a Wikipedia account, you may also sign up below on this page.
Program / Flow
[edit]We will create or improve articles related to Iranian and German Women in Red.
We will connect between rooms during the day to coordinate (11 am and 2 pm)
The BBB videoconference link will be shared with all registered participants shortly before the event.
