Kashkadarya Regional Program

Kashkadarya Regional Program was a project aimed at improving articles about neighbourhoods on the Uzbek Wikipedia. The workshop was held on November, 2025, in Karshi city, Kashkadarya Region, Uzbekistan. It was second wiki event in the region. Project was organized by Wikimedians of the Uzbek Language User Group, with Mirfayzbek Abdullayev leading the team. The project was financially supported by Rapid Fund. The project included a workshop in Karshi and photo tour to historical sites of Kashkadarya Region.

History

Project was discussed during the Youth Workshop of Kashkadarya in Karshi with local wikimedians. Moreover, the project was initially discussed with Uzbek Wikimedians at August monthly online meetup of the Wikimedians of the Uzbek Language User Group.
