Create a New Cohort > 1. Naming your Cohort File

All Cohort files in Wikimetrics *must* have a universally unique name. This means that all users must share the pool of filenames available and Wikimetrics will not accept any duplicates. In the near future, cohort files will be sharable and choosing cohort names that are easily identifiable is important.

The recommended format is:

[ProgramName]_[EntityName]_[Site/Event]_[Start Date]_[Project]

To help you with the process of naming your cohort, this page provides detailed information about naming your cohort as well as recommended codes for each section.
