To what extent do you feel the various aspects of the residency were effective for achieving its goals and objectives? For each aspect listed below, please (a) rate the extent to which you feel it was an effective match, and (b) suggest any possible improvement(s)

  1. Residencies in general (i.e., those that have already been delivered or are in-progress)
  2. Length of residencies (details of the timelines here. For example, British Library was a year long full time collaboration, while Tyne and Wear 3 months part time)

  • Ability to teach and support those learning to use Wikipedia and its sister websites.
  • Ability to develop and maintain reporting systems and evaluation.
  • Ability to communicate in English clearly to a wide variety of audiences.
  • Ability to work tactfully, as part of the institution, the Wikimedian community and with a wide range of individuals.
  • Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and work under own initiative.
  • An understanding of and empathy for Wikimedia UK's mission. Commitment to open knowledge and open source movement.
  • Good understanding of the activities and projects of the host organisation
