British Library/COPAC[edit]

  • Maximum Concurrent Connections:
  • Primary Languages: English
  • Holdings Profile: general material
  • Legal Issues: "There are also restrictions on re-use of records originating from BLCMP and SLS, and there may be other restrictions on re-use of records depending on the record source."[1]

The British Library and COPAC system return data in SUTRS format, a display-oriented format completely unsuited to Wikicat's detailed datamodel. Despite a move to MARC 21 internally at COPAC and the British Library, COPAC has no plans to return MARC data through its open target interface.

Thus despite its extensive holdings, the British Library/COPAC is not a suitable target.
