Photowalking involves taking photographs that engage both the photographer and the viewer while walking with a camera. The Maithili Wikimedians User Group members occasionally organize photowalks for use in Wikimedia projects. The community has organized multiple photowalk events in the past and continues to support the Wikimedia Commons by uploading the required photographs.
Holi Event, Kathmandu: 2025 March
[edit]The Photowalk event was held at the Durbar Marg, Kathmandu, on 13 March 2025. More than 100 photos were taken during this Photowalk, and 25 were uploaded to Commons. A total of 3 Wikimedians participated in the Photowalk.
