Brixton Wikimedia Meetup Number 9

After a summer break we are back! This will be the ninth monthly meetup at Brixton Library led by the librarians with Wikimedia editing experience. It is open to all editors established, slightly confident and even the very new.
Location

Brixton Library is on Windrush Square, in central Brixton, 2 minutes walk from Brixton tube station (Victoria line), Brixton mainline train line and also served by many buses.
We will meet on the ground floor of the library, near computers 5-8 and very close to the graphic novels.
How it works
[edit]If you've never been to a Wikimedia Meetup before, it's just a very friendly, casual get-together where we can talk about our shared hobby. If you're a total newcomer to the wiki world, or just curious, you're welcome to come and talk to experienced wiki contributors.
Themes
[edit]No ideas yet! Please add anything here you would like to edit. It is Lambeth Heritage Festival month explore the programme for ideas, or perhaps we can focus on some local history.
What to bring
[edit]You can bring your own laptop if you wish but we also will have library computers. Join the library ahead of your visit and pick up your library card at the desk.
Future meetups
[edit]We will generally have a Wikipedia meetup at the library on the last Monday of the month. In October we have a special meetup editathon for Black History Month over the road at Lambeth Archives. So the next two meetups will be:
- Black History Month editathon at Lambeth Archives, Monday 20th October 6pm-8pm
- October meetup 11 at Brixton Library, Monday 27th October 6pm-8pm
