Since April 2008, London meetups have taken place regularly at the Penderel's Oak Pub - usually from 1pm onwards on the second Sunday of every month. There are usually ten to twenty people attending, who arrive at various times during the afternoon.

The meetups are informal with no fixed agenda or finishing time - discussions can vary from the latest happenings at the Wikimedia Foundation, to current events and philosophy. The pub serves both drinks and food, but consumption of either is not compulsory! Average attendance is around ten people, but it has reached over twenty on some occasions. While Wikimedians in London are the most frequent attendees, those that live outside London are also welcome and do frequently attend.
