Why is this user awesome? During 2020 and the first steps of COVID-19, Ferdi2005 was the only one truly believing in the possibility of being able to organize an online conference while having fun in it. Long story short, the community organized their amazing Italian Wiki Conference 2020 online and we was one of the very first events adopting 100% Free software (details). I had lot, lot, lot of fun with Ferdi2005. He's damn young and he has a lot of energy. He always smiles. Never argue with anyone. He likes to learn new things and share his experiences but above all he loves cute gadgets. Xaosflux

Why is this user awesome?

Xaosflux, an English Wikipedia bureaucrat, is one of the project's top technical editors. I encounter them regularly at the technical village pump, bot proposal pages, and while making edit requests, and they are always exceptionally helpful and patient with helping those of us less technically savvy accomplish what we are looking to do. Their Barnstar cabinet is already overflowing, so I figured they might appreciate some tangible Wikilove instead.

Nick Moyes is a Teahouse superhost. He has thought deeply about how best to provide newcomers with the resources they need to launch their wiki careers, and I'm regularly impressed with the detailed, personalized responses he gives them to help them out. He sailed through an RfA last January and deserves some tangible wikilove.

I first substantially encountered Aza24 when they did a helpful, thorough source review on a featured list I nominated. And my experience is far from unusual: they are a constant, seemingly tireless presence at many of the quality content nomination venues, providing crucial support that helps keep the backlogs of these important processes in check. They also have a sizable roster of Western art/music GAs and FAs under their belt, and contribute at various other forums. For all this, they deserve some tangible WikiLove!

Why is this user awesome?

Rhododendrites is one of the editors where, if I'm skimming a long discussion and see their signature, I'll always stop to read their comment in full since they invariably have an intelligent, insightful remark that moves the conversation forward. They are also one of the go-to editors on Wikipedia for questions about Commons, having contributed an extraordinary collection of featured or otherwise recognized pictures. And that doesn't stop their content work, either—they have an impressive collection of GAs and DYKs. For all this, they deserve some tangible WikiLove.

Basak helps to increase the appearance of women on Wikimedia projects. Before the COVID-19, she is particularly one that helps in the introduce of Wikimedia projects in the educational institutions in Turkey. Despite COVID-19, she still continues to introduce these projects for hundreds of people. She is currently a member of the Affiliations Committee and also she plays an important role in the communication of Turkish wiki projects with other languages. I would like to thank her for the efforts.

Tenryuu is one of those editors who is just super helpful. They're best known for their prolific copyediting, but personally I've encountered them mainly at the Teahouse, where they've provided considerate help to newcomers and contributed thoughtful comments on ways to improve the forum at its talk page. One anecdote that exemplifies their helpfulness is that I mentioned at one point that it'd be helpful for accessibility purposes to have a spoken version of w:visual impairment, and they just went ahead and did it, even though it's by no means a short article and they had never done a spoken recording before. For all this, they deserve some tangible wikilove!

ProcrastinatingReader is one of the most active editors in the template space on en-WP, making important contributions that help make the project function efficiently. They also have a healthy number of content contributions under their belt, including two GAs. CaptainEek is an excellent administrator on English Wikipedia. Since joining in 2018, they have contributed to many quality articles and joined or closed many discussions. This past January, they became a member of the Arbitration Committee, one of the project's most demanding roles. I recently noticed them expressing an interest in the Wikipedia Store, so figured they would appreciate some tangible wikilove.

I would like to nominate Encycloon. Encycloon has been the administrator of the Dutch Wikipedia since March 2019 and has contributed a lot to our community. He often has ideas to improve the wiki, which he discusses in a respectful and constructive manner. He is very polite towards all users and particularly welcoming towards new users. He has been a great example to me, both as a Wikipedian and an administrator, and I would like to thank him for his commitment to the project.

This person is not a user. He is a Belgian photographer who has donated at least 138 photo's of people with an article on Dutch Wikipedia, through the "Wikiportrait" interface. The photo's can be seen at c:Category:Photographs_by_Filip_Naudts. Today, these can be seen on 1604 articles in many languages. An example is the picture of nl:Boudewijn de Groot - a very famous singer and songwriter from the Netherlands. Filip Naudts can be reached by e-mail because he is known in the VRT system, for instance through Ticket:2013051510010847 (Concerning a photo of nl:Roxeanne Hazes). There is an article about him: nl:Filip Naudts. I am very gratefull for his donations of images with a free licence, improving the quality of so many articles.

Daniel Case

I've had the chance to work with him as the assessor of an article he nominated for a GAR (Lafayette Park Historic District). Apart from being an outstanding administrator on the English Wikipedia, he is very committed to his activity on the Free Encyclopedia and I have to say that it was a real pleasure to work with him on the platform, both on a personal and a more "professional" level. Hence, I'd definitely say that he surely deserves, more than ever, this symbolic yet tangible recognition for his invaluable contribution to the project.

Hasley is an admin on the Spanish Wikipedia and a global sysop. As such, he/she spends a lot of time fighting spammers/trolls/LTA's (on a global scale).
