• All developers probably require the ability to edit the protected Spam blacklist page because that can badly affect every wiki, so it's probably a bad idea for any reasonably present developer to not be an admin here. Stat doesn't reflect all use of admin capabilities, for example checking of deleted page histories, which I have used. As a developer I deliberately seek to avoid direct intervention, preferring to cause others to do things as a result of my influence. This doesn't mean that I won't do so if necessary, simply that I seek not to where practical. I'm also around enough to notice this discussion. :) Jamesday 20:32, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
