Syntax highlighter

Hello. For the past many years, I have an amazing syntax highlighter enabled on Meta (and I only wish it was available on other projects). I cannot figure out if I enabled this myself at some point, or if it is on by default. My preferences does not show anything related to highlighting the editing syntax, and attempting to edit via IP doesn't show any active syntax highlighter. Is it just me (and a few others maybe), or does everyone have this highlighter too? Any clue what the feature is called, so that one may look into the possibility on enabling it on another project? @Rehman: it may just be the default one. When you go to an edit box, look at the edit box controls, try clicking on the highlighter icon and see if it toggles off (then back on) what you are looking at. — xaosflux Talk 11:34, 23 May 2019 (UTC)
Xaosflux, a great big hug to you! I cannot emphasize how much time I wasted trying to figure out where the feature is enabled from. And to my surprise, that syntax highlighter is universal and available on other projects as well. Marvellous! I'm quite certain many editors didn't notice that boring pen icon!
