User:Daniel Mayer → Mav

As much as I like having my real name associated with my steward account, I've found it to be most inconvenient due to the fact that I edit under "mav" and global login requires me to log-in separately whenever I want to help set user rights and whatnot. The end result is that I don't help out as much as I'd otherwise would. Unfortunately, there is one edit to the user:mav account on meta (a revert in 2003)... If needed, I can log-into that account and make an edit here to prove conclusively that I'm in control of the user:mav account on meta. edit as mav on en.wikipedia --Daniel Mayer (mav) 11:00, 20 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wow - that was fast! Thanks. I thought about just asking the other Stewards if I could migrate the steward flag to the mav global account but that would mean that none of my previous steward actions would be logged under the mav account.
