Usurpation of meta:Anglerfisch
I am known and active as Anglerfisch. Somehow creation of meta:Anglerfisch failed/is incomplete and cannot be added to my SUL. I would like to usurp meta:Anglerfisch to my global account. I am writing on behalf of en:user:Jwyg, who would like his account connected to user:Jwyg here on Meta. He is unable to create a user account with that name on meta because of an account conflict due to similarity with en:user:Jwy6, a user who created an account in 2009 and ceased editing after a few edits.
Jwyg has asked me to help him get an account on meta named user:Jwyg and to connect that account as a SUL to en:user:Jwyg. Is this the correct forum for this? Thanks. Blue Rasberry (talk) 20:17, 19 August 2013 (UTC)
- That is not the right place, as that does not need a rename. The user shall just go to en:Special:MergeAccount and unify their account. Once that's done, the useraccount should be automatically created here. -Barras talk 20:47, 19 August 2013 (UTC)
