My real name is Reinhardt Wiewe. My native language is German. In 2004 I used the nickname Gangleri and contributed to MadiaWiki faultfinding. I registred to LibraryThing in 2007. Mid 2021 i tried to normalise the links at hundreds of author pages there.
At some point in time it was to find "meaningfull identities" for the authors/persons.
At the moment I tried to specify for eaxh:
- the gender
- the family name written in capital letters
- an image
- links to various language versions of Wikipedias
- wikidata links
- Worldcat links
- VIAF links
- Library of Congress links
- links to MusicBrainz for musitians (singers, composers etc.)
- links to IMDb for actors,
"Nobody left behind" is a slogan in various communities. The goal is not to find the "identities" of prominent people. It is important to find the identities of translators, proof readers, illustrators etc. "persons" are beside authors writing or contributing to a book also the people mentioned.
All life matters is not about nationalities, faith, languages. It is neither about right or wrong. tbc.
