I'm nominating myself for adminship on Meta. I've been very active here since December 2006. I'm an administrator on en.wikipedia as en:User:A. B.. I also have low edit-count accounts on many other projects as either A. B., A. B. 10, or A. B. 100 that I use for spam cleanup. I've primarily been involved with spam detection and cleanup here, although I've been known to chip in on other issues, such as closure discussions of small projects.
As an admin, I would expect to continue working with the Spam blacklist, only in an expanded capacity.
I value the collegiality and reduced wikidrama of the Meta environment and I realize its culture, procedures and goals are different from that of other projects. --A. B.(talk) 18:51, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
Support absolutely, a great worker at spam-blacklist, thanks A. B., --birdy geimfyglið(:> )=|∇ 18:52, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
Someone who really does know what Meta is about. Extensive & extremely competent work on the blacklist but equally works in other aspects of the project. I have a very high respect for this user indeed --Herbytalk thyme 19:20, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
Comment: I changed the RfA closing time from 19:00 27th January 2008 to 19:00 28th January 2008 to comply with the required 7-day RfA period. 21 + 7 ≠ 27; my apologies for my initial mistake. --A. B.(talk) 19:26, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
The community being unanimous that this user become an Admin the rights have been granted --Herbytalk thyme 19:22, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
