I just started SWMT the day before yesterday. Meta-wiki doesn't get a lot of vandalism (or at least I didn't saw many vandalism edits in SWViewer). But I saw a spammer's userpage on meta but I could not tag it for deletion because of the abuse filter. Autopatroller would be sufficient in this case to override the abuse filter but Cptviraj told me patroller group includes rollback right. So I am asking here. RfC disrupted by sockpuppetry

The discussion at Requests for comment/Site-wide administrator abuse and WP:PILLARS violations on the Croatian Wikipedia has been disrupted by IP addresses and sockpuppets who keep making unintelligible personal attacks against other users (examples [3] [4] [5]). This has apparently been happening on other wikis as well (example [6], and seems to be the work of a single, globally banned user (see here). Can anything be done about this? multilingual wikisource

hi, sorry to bother you,

there seem to have been quite a few changes in the last few days in the page editor of the multilingual wikisource

now when i try to transcribe a page, the picture of the page is not anymore side by side with the text box, but it lies below, which is not very convenient

is there any work in progress or is it going to stay that way? would it be possible to make it again the way it was before?

Not done @Der Keks: The filter only inhibits the editing of another person's user page, so it is just as easy to use {{edit protected}} on the user talk page or ask here for the addition.   • Strong oppose - This user made only one undo of edit made by an IP here. Also he asked rollback on simplewiki a few days ago, and that request was declined because he had never made any undo on that project. Also on Commons he asked for other rights, all of the requests were declined. He said Sir, I didn't undo any vandalism, because I haven't the rollbacker right. Hey everyone. I'm sending this message out because a graduate student at De Haagse Hogeschool reached out on WP:Discord. Kasparas Litinskas is doing his graduate project on user engagement in large crowdsourced communities. It's part of a larger initiative to study and develop a data-structured language framework. As part of the project, he is conducting short interviews to understand the ways that administrators on Wikimedia sites operate and how they handle certain critical situations as well as the tools they use to tackle these problems.

Oy. Look at Novak Watchmen's edits. He came to me during a time when there was vandalism and asked for the patroller right to help with it; he had reverted a few edits already. I did so, and he's used it well since. I gave it to his other account as it's the same person. If you'd like to question my granting of the patroller right to him, please feel free to do so at my talk page where I can address your concerns more directly. However, complaining and trying to run comparisons is rather immature, and the least likely means to get me to have a change of heart.
