1. Manipulating processes and coordinated voting in collaboration with the user Galahad before the steward DerHexer.
2. Misleading the community by creating sockpuppet accounts and presenting them as separate individuals.
3. Providing false information on their user page, including references to users they claim not to know (despite evidence to the contrary).
4. Encouraging hostility and targeted harassment against prominent users such as Jaluj, both on external platforms and their own global user page.

Request for block | Meruleh

Hello, I'm sorry for filing this report anonymously, but doing it from my main account might compromise my good standing with the users involved. If strictly necessary, and in extreme circumstances, I am willing to reveal my identity. I would like to request the local ban of the user Meruleh. from Meta.Wiki. First, due to the abuse of sockpuppets or alternate accounts within Meta.Wiki. As is well known, several sockpuppets have been discovered, including: Horcus (alleged partner), Kiwumi, Sonoko Konishi, Georgina Sparks, among others. Most of these accounts have already been locally banned on Wikipedia and Wikivoyage for abuse, yet oddly not on Meta.Wiki. Second, for her hostile behavior toward the respected user Jaluj. On her global user page, Meruleh displays a red-colored indirect message that appears to incite hostility and potentially provoke a conflict with this distinguished contributor. Third, for promoting hatred and making reference to abusive Wikimedia users, such as Geógrafo23, whom she claims not to know—despite multiple users asserting otherwise. Fourth, for coordinating with the user Galahad to undermine the renewal process of DerHexer steward permissions. These and other actions demonstrate that Meruleh is a disruptive and dangerous presence, acting in bad faith and harming the well-being of the community. I previously submitted a report that was dismissed due to not notifying the accused parties properly. In this current submission, I have made the appropriate notifications via their talk pages. Not done. As mentioned earlier, we do not do user bans on Meta-Wiki. Changing "ban" to "block" does not change any of what was mentioned in the previous discussion.

Meta does not ban socking (I still agree it's disruptive, however) so point 1 has very little relevance. Give me examples of point 2 on Meta-Wiki that would warrant a block; at this point you've done none of it. 3 is also not a reason to block – if Geógrafo23 wants their name removed, they can request to remove it themselves (but they have made no attempt on Meta to do so); 4 isn't either (despite it being less than ideal).

What is disruptive, however, is you constantly refusing to listen to Meta sysops and using an IP to conceal your main account – you already say you know this ("main account might compromise my good standing with the users involved"). It too isn't prohibited, but it is more disruptive than requesting a block ignoring all of the points made in the previous discussion (except notifying...which isn't even required). //shb (t • c) 07:46, 26 June 2025 (UTC)

Bonjour,

Je m'appelle **Hassan Kherjouj**, directeur de publication du site technologique marocain massadir.ma. Mon compte utilisateur **« Kherjouj »** a été bloqué indéfiniment sur Wikipédia en français le **29 juin 2025** pour « POV pushing », à la suite d'une discussion liée à la nationalité affichée dans l'infobox de Madame Leila Benali.

Je souhaite préciser que mon intention n'était nullement de vandaliser ou de promouvoir une vision politique, mais d’ouvrir un débat de proportionnalité, basé sur des sources officielles marocaines. Je regrette si mes interventions ont pu être perçues comme insistantes. Je m’engage à respecter les règles de neutralité et à collaborer de manière respectueuse si mon compte est débloqué.

N’ayant plus accès à la page de discussion sur Wikipédia FR en raison du blocage, je me tourne vers Meta pour solliciter une révision ou un dialogue.

Proposal to add a Abuse Filter Search (Gadget) for ( / to) metawiki?

I am currently making a abuse filter search. This should help us and all other projects to better maintains abuse filters and find deprecated variables etc. The search allows you to search in local filters and also global (use optional sitematrix for all active projects) or foreign projects. Since we also have global filters in Metawiki and crosswiki, the projects meet. I suggest add the script as a gadget. What do you think I should add the script as a gadget?

I have used https://search-filters.toolforge.org/ in the past, although I'm not sure if the tool still works given recent updates to AbuseFilters like protected variables @Martin Urbanec? Johannnes89 (talk) 18:18, 24 June 2025 (UTC)

The tool is limited to a few users and shows rather little information, code from private filters does not work with it. My script has the advantage that it uses the API directly in the browser, so you have no oauth restrictions and can also search private filter code (which was also the main reason for my work) and can search everything. the script also immediately displays short code and more information. @Hide on Rosé Yes you can see and search in all filters and it even shows whether the filter is public or private. See for example the Screenshot on Commons ("Öffentlich" is german public). For obvious reasons, I have not included a screenshot of a pirvate filter, but this looks exactly the same except that it says "Private" instead of "Public". I noticed some bugs about this script:

• Every time I use it, it logs me out every time.
• When on "Edit" or "View history", the script loads on these pages where it should not load. It should only load on "Read".
• Can its appearance be changed for dark mode? It has poor contrast.
